PCI Based High Speed Serial Co-processor

Representing our third generation of serial co-processors, the RT302PCI is very economicalt and effecient product, designed to be easy to use and flexible in the variety of applications supported. Based on the Motorola 68302 multiprotocol processor, this 3-port board brings fast synchronous and asynchronous capability to PCI compatible PC's running the Windows NT operating system.

With an RT302 installed in your PC you get the benefit of Motorola's industry standard 25 MHZ 68000 microprocessor core, aided by an embedded RISC processor to handle communication related overhead. The board is controled by an NT kernel mode driver. Users may access the board via standard ReadFile and WriteFile Win32 API calls. The boards operation can be tailored to the most challenging designs by means of IOCTL (DeviceIoControl) calls. Driver operation is fully re-entrant, interrupt driven and offers full multi-threaded support.
