With ComLite32 for Windows 95, your PC is transformed into
a powerful communications protocol analyzer. ComLite32 is able to "attach"
to a serial communications port, allowing you to investigate the protocol in
use, even when no documentation exists. The communication activities of
any program which uses the serial ports can be monitored. You can also
break the serial path between two devices and insert a PC running ComLite32.
This allows you to non-intrusively listen to existing communication links.
This can be useful if neither device is a PC running Windows 95.
ComLite32 sports a convenient and intuitive user interface
which uses all of the familiar features that Windows 95 users expect. With
fully customizable behavior, ComLite32 presents you with only the aspects of
the data that you are concerned with, be it timing information, error flags,
or the data itself. This frees you to concentrate on the data in question, not
on ComLite32.

At least one serial device (includes internal and PCMCIA modems) is
necessary if the monitoring capabilities of ComLite32 are to be used.
Note: ComLite32 will function and can still be evaluated
using a special "Fake Data" mode, even if there are no serial devices
present in a system)

|
Step 1: Download your copy of ComLite32 at the
location cliteb5.exe. |
|
Step 2: Copy the downloaded file cliteb5.exe
to a temporary location on your hard disk.
|
|
Step 3: Run the program cliteb5.exe. This
program is a self-extracting archive and will automatically decompress
all of the necessary files.
|
|
Step 4: Run the program setup.exe which was
just decompressed. This will run the setup program for ComLite32.
The setup program will copy the necessary files to the correct locations
and prompt you to reboot your system. After your system has been
rebooted, ComLite32 will be ready to go.
